Peruvian Thick-knee (Burhinus superciliaris) (Burhinus superciliaris)

I found these beautiful birds, two days ago, on a beach o Lima - Per. There were two of them together. In Peru they are known as Alcaravn huerequeque, but you know them as Peruvian Thick-knee. I guess they are young, because of the feathers, but I really don't know. The image quality is poor, I used a Canon PowerShot SX120 IS. I hope you enjoy them !

That's a wonderful start to make to your Gallery YHbird - many thanks for sharing this Thick-knee with us.

I saw your question in your thread. To upload more pictures, you just do the same as you did for this one... no more than 3 per day, though please. Some people manage to use the Bulk Upload facility, but that one is beyond me, so I haven't ever done it that way.

Very well done - I'll look forward to seeing some more of your birds from Peru.

I'm very glad you like the picture. That motivates me to continue taken photos of new the birds I'll discovery soon :)
