Fabulous picture of this beauty nectaring. You can certainly see the similarities to Monarch, Queens, Viceroys, etc. Great species and a terrific picture Shane!!! TFS!!!

Lovely image, even though I would have thought leopard a more suitable name for this one than tiger ;)
As for the silver/pearl-edged fritillary ... I'll post the shot showing the underside of its right wings tomorrow. I looked for a black spot to see if it seemed large or small, clear or fuzzy to me, but I'm not sure which spot to look at or what size and clarity to compare to. I assume you'll know, though, since you knew what to direct me to look for.
