Thanks SK :t: ...... that sand in the bottom of the pool has been worn away from the surrounding areas sandstone rocks one grain at a time ......

A great place well captured, Chosun. A few shutter speed/exposure choices there... I'd say you chose correctly ;)

Thanks Chris :t: though I'd say more good luck than good management! :)

I just used my phone in normal mode (sometimes if I have a handrail or rock or something to brace on I'll try HDR mode or something to lengthen the exposure time). This particular one so the EXIF tells me was 1/483rd of a second to be precise! and ISO 50. It helps not to stretch the DR of the little sensor too much ... so cropping out any sky when framing gave a pretty good exposure result here :)

Thanks KC :t: this is actually at the top of the falls proper but looking back up the creek, so most people would be able to negotiate the mostly gently sloping and few steeper steps to get here. Yes, the lovely calm sandy bottom of the pool is a nice juxtaposition to the enormous drop of the main falls in the other direction behind :)
