Tropical lowland rainforest, riverine floodplain forest around an oxbow lake at 256 m (840 ft) elevation.
Location
Cocha Blanco just off Ro Madre de Dios south of Manu Lodge, Madre de Dios Department, Per.

Oh how wonderful to see one of these Stanley... and that's a great pose to got too, with him tucked into that crevice.

What a beautiful shot! He's looking a bit bashful. I guess with howler monkeys it's the opposite of with children - they're meant to be heard and not seen ;)
