"Hooded Gull" (Larus ridibundus)

This Black Headed Gull was on territory and on thr look out for predators that might pose a threat to it and other gulls present.

If you want loud, squealing, laughing and chattering gulls that has immediate impact on the hearing senses then go to Leighton Moss.

The Black Headed Gull is my favourite Gull and I spend many happy hours when I get the chance to observe their behaviour when on territory.
