Red-and-white Antpitta
Two Antpittas before breakfast! Unfortunately on the narrow path I couldn't move so as to get the bird fully in the open without bumping into everybody else.

Oh my!!! What a wonderful find for you Andrea - this is only the second image to come in to the Gallery, and it's a great improvement on the other one.

You did so well getting it at all, by the sounds of it LOL.

Congratulations on capturing this Antpitta. So this is what they look like (lol). I remember a number of years ago we were within 2 meters of this bird with it calling. We spent twenty minutes and we never ever got a glimpse of it. An experience I will never forget. TFS Andrea!
