Red-Crowned Cranes dancing
The Red-Crowned Cranes have an elaborate courtship dance, it makes for fantastic photo opportunities and is one of the highlights to Hokkaido in winter.

3 super captures, DJ. Have tonight been watching a TV show on migrating birds and it included these (or very similar) in northern Europe. A lovely pic of their exotic dance. TFS.
 
So beautiful and your timing of their stance is excellent. I wish I could have been there.
 
That is so beautiful, i have a wall scroll with dancing Cranes on...would love to see it for real one day. Thanks for sharing Dan:t:
