Comments.
This picture has been taken during one of the coldest days of the winter but at this time of day, some slight defrost occurs and we can see soil on the beak and has wet his plumage. This red-legged pardrige was looking for some food in a wheat field. Every few second, the pardrige stand the head for a look around to see in any danger is coming.
