Red-tailed Squirrel (Sciurus granatensis: Sciuridae) Raiding the bananas that were put out for the birds.
Habitat
Along the margin’s of Río Guayabo. Tropical premontane broadleaf forest (cloud forest/rain forest) at 626 m (2,054 ft) elevation; situated in a caldera of an extinct volcano. Grounds planted to attract birds and butterflies (Lantana, Porterweed, Firebush, etc.). Canopy Lodge, El Valle de Antón, Coclé Province, Panamá.
