Ruby Throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris)

These guys are really frustrating me this year. They're really jumpy and as sneaky as I try to be, they just won't come near enough to get a decent photo. The males are only rarely showing their red gorget (here once again this hummer's chin looks black) This one was about 20 feet up in a tree, flitting from one branch to the next, never settling for long. I think they're toying with me.
