Habitat: Rocks and sand next to the Strait of Juan de Fuca

Location: Port Townsend, WA

Date taken: Sept. 2013

Scientific name: passerculus sandwichensis

Equipment used: Cannon EOS 5D MK III with Canon 100-400 mm lens.

The lighting in that eye is captivating. A gorgeous capture!
