Aah, that's such a great picture!

I'm biased - they're my favourite "little brown job" - but I've never seen a picture of a newly-fledged sedge, and I think it's wonderful!

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated. Kegressy, was it a juvenile? It was indeed, and very confiding as well. At one point it sat on my shoe, and I ended up with a rather out of focus photo of the top of its head.
