After brief and difficult sightings far away, this one suddenly decided to take a bath only 4 meters away in an allmost dry streambed on a steep bamboo-covered slope.

@ Rainbirder: the Ceylon WT is a much more elusive species and thus even harder to get on the camera. The one picture in the Handbook of the Birds of the World is made by a friend. A keen birder, but not a professional photographer at all. Still he got a copy of that volume for free, just submitting that one picture!
