A dream of freedom

Please excuse the late entry. I have taken lots of insect pictures this year but couldn't for the life of me decide on one for the competition. Then yesterday evening I was looking through pictures from the weekend at the end of June when we set up our little exhibition in Eastern Sweden and found this. I don't know whether it's any good but perhaps it's a bit different.
I'll try to add the common name and scientific names of the damsefly later but I'm sure it's something very common.
After I took some pictures I opened the window and it flew off.

o:) Different indeed, great meaning in this shot, not just an insect picture!!! Love the caption you added too, Graham, super post!!!

Wow.. Different and very beautiful, Graham. I can stare this a long time. Nice reflection and shadow. And the setting makes me wonder.. This makes me feel good!

Cant say the species from this angle. Some Coenagrionidae..

Thanks very much to Bernard, Ken, KC, Marian, Aki and Roosje for posting these kind comments on this image!

Thanks very much, Reels. If I ever have an exhibition of insect pictures I'll definitely include it.
