Common Big-headed Rain Frog (Ischnocnema quixensis: Strabomantidae) About 4.5 cm (1.8 in) long. Photographed along a forest trail during a night walk at Manu Wildlife Center Lodge situated east of Boca Manu. Habitat is a river-edge forest; a lowland rainforest along the banks of Rio Madre de Dios at ca. 290 m (951 ft) elevation. Humid Forest Life Zone.
