They're lovely Lionel I've not heard of them before, but think I must have seen them at some time in my long past.

I guess they're a form of 'bracket fungus', are they? That's as far as my ID skills have ever taken me on those fungi growing on trees.

A super picture you've taken of them lad - very well done.
