Ft Jefferson on Garden Key in the Dry Tortugas

This is the side of the fort including the moat from the ship we sailed on to Garden Key. It is about 70 miles south of Key West and the most southern point in the US. They renamed it Dry Tortuga to signify there was no potable water on the islands. More to come birders! lol!
