What a beautiful image this is Volker! I get the "blue-naped" but where did it get it's mousbird name? You can answer me here and I'll check back ;)
 
KC, the name is because of the feathers on the breast and belly that looks like the soft hair that mice have. Another reason for the name might be the way they move through the branches reminding rodents.
 
I wonder if that tail affects in any way this bird's mobility.
