Gilbert's Dragon
Named after English naturalist John Gilbert this spectacular lizard is apparently quite common in Australia's Northern Territory (the Top End) we only saw one on our tour. Locals know it as the 'Ta Ta Lizard' because it looks as though its waving goodbye when it stops running...

That's a sweet looking lizard that one Chris..... and I love the name the locals have given it LOL.
