Tale of the missing tail lol, that's funny. My Daddy use to say, " Somedays you eat the bear and some days the bear eats you. Well, we know what happens here.

Nice one Kits! Ages ago I posted a very similar shot of a Blackbird lacking a tail (and strongly suspected responsibility lay with one particular cat which used to lie half-hidden in a patch of ivy on the ground, waiting for unwary birds). Yours is a better photo, sharper and with better eye contact. I guess there's every good chance the tail feathers will grow back (a quick search suggests that's the case).
 
Such a sweet pose for the camera. It's amazing how fast the tails grow out again so I wouldn't worry too much. Great job Kits.
