What a wonderful start you've made to your Gallery with this lovely Dipper (my all-time favourite bird!).

A super picture it is too, of this juvenile, such great feather detail too. Very well done.

I hope you don't mind, but I've amended the scientific name you used, to lead to the subspecies that occurs in England. Gularis aquaticus, appears to be a combination of two binomials and not an actual scientific name. C.c gularis is the subspecies found from Orkney down through east Scotland to England, whereas C.c. aquaticus is found in central and southern Europe.

As it's such a clear image of a juvenile, I'll upload it to The Opus article - many thanks for sharing it with us.
