I'm glad people liked the huge bell of yesterday. It was pretty impressive, especially to think of it traveling across the Atlantic.

Again I imagine the storm: the
roaring winds, the mountainous
seas, the razor-sharp rocks hard
and cruel as the Heart of a Woman
waiting in blackness to rend to tear
the brave little ship battered this way
and that by the treacherous waves.
Then the light of the beacon, cutting
through darkness, the cry of an Angel,
'Beware! Beware! The thankful sailors,
disaster averted, the prayers offered up
to the Cape Liz lighthouse.
Great shot, Kits. If you weren't you, you'd
be the light of an Angel.
