Black-throated Magpie-Jay (Calocitta colliei)

The Black-throated Magpie-Jay (Calocitta colliei) is endemic to Northwest Mexico, and fortunately is quite common in the arid regions. They move about a bit, so a challenge to photograph. Photo not the best, but this species seldomposted. Note the prominent black tuft, black throat, and extremely long tail. Haven't learned yet whether corvids south of the border are afflicted with West Nile Virus.
