The Flying Gadwall (Anas strepera)

Went to Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge today. It is a great place with large ponds that attract migrating ducks heading north this time of year and in another few weeks will be full of shorebirds. It is located in central NY State about a 3 hour drive from me so don't get there often but it was a fun day today. This Gadwall was one of the first birds I took today.
