Swallowtail comparison

Pale Swallowtail (Papilio eurymedon) on left and Western Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio rutulus) on right. Both of these species were patrolling along San Pedro Creek. The Pale (or Pallid) Swallowtail is less common. In addition to its paler color, its forewings are narrower, more angular and its black stripes are broader.

Swallowtails are so pretty... but I've yet to see one sadly.
