Snow Geese in flight... (Chen caerulescens)

While awaiting the arrival of this years snow geese migrating thru our area on their way to their winter homes to the south of us, I thought I would post this shot from a couple of years ago when the geese migrating thru numbered in the thousands.

So this was in the month of January so hopefully they'll keep to their schedule and I'll see a few in the near future ;)

This is a great group aerial Ken. I cannot imagine seeing this many at one time.
 
Lovely Ken...I watched a documentary last night which showed over a million Snow Geese. Such an incredible sight & sound.

Super in flight shot Ken, many tfs and I watched the same documentary as Mali and it was very interesting.
