Snow Geese near Mount Vernon, Washington (Anser caerulescens)

Nearly 30 thousand Snow Geese, mostly from Wrangell Island in Russia, spend the winter in the Skagit Valley in Washington state and in British Columbia. They spend the night in the Puget Sound, and feed in the fields during the day.

My goodness pva! I can't imagine seeing that many of any species let alone these Snow Geese which I've only seen a few of.
