Soliloquy with a Bird-lol-..is it ... (Tringa glareola)

Well people yesterday had gone to see one of my fav. patients-he was in pain-gave him a i\m Morhpine inj.-after 25mins he opened his eyes and looked at me-as always he has the biggest smile for me-asked him how he was and he told me fine since you are here-oh i laughed and said is the morphine or me ,you talking about-he gave low chuckle. As i set there for a while more-I felt a presence-well Mr.Death was around-I and He have a long standing feud going-I argue for more time for my patients and he wants to take them away, but believe me some time he listens but some times also tell's me to let go for the patient is suffering will be less-I do agree but to-day i said no-for this patient-he is waiting for his son to come back from the U.S.A. with a ENg. degree in 10 days from now.I told him when i die and you come to take me -i am going to give you hell if you dont listen-Oh Dr.Singh that has been my nightmare and even God;s(my God-lol)-if we put you in hell-whole hell will start laughing with you around and dont forget all your friends are there,Hell is supposed to be all agony and pain not laughter,But if we put you in Heaven-you will corrupt all the good people there(like B.F.-lol).-o.k. this ones i agree with you but we have also decided that your turn will come after a very, very long time.As i laughed the presence vanished. So went back to my practice and saw my patents and at 12.30pm bolted for my patch.
Had no mood -just set under a stunted tree(at least there is some shade left-) on the edge of the pond-and dossed off-must have been 15mins or so a sharp cry of the wood sandpiper woke me up just 35 feet away(off cause took a shot)-looking at it's grace, colour and zest for life-I realized that LIFE is for living the best you can and if possible loving it and laughing at it-.For Nature is there for us to enjoy life with BIRDS like this to show you it's beauty even tho it has a simple colour.
Nature has millions of colours and species to make what we call LIFE.So people LIFE- LOVE It,,LAUGH AT IT and LAUGH WITH IT.Hope you'll will like the bird for it is LIFE.(I wrote this to-day for all the people who have every thing but still dont understand life.Regards.

I always remember when (Mom2) was in better health and could make it over to her previous Doctors surgery, she would always apologise to him for taking up his time as he was a busy man, he would always reply "We know the ones who are ill and the ones that are putting it on (moaners and whingers, you called them) so don't worry. Your patients are extremly lucky to have such a caring Dr who fights along with them.

A peaceful picture,

An excellent photograph and food for the soul in this and in your writing. Keeping in contact with nature is an excellent way of recharging the batteries and laughing keeps us sane so keep dishing out the medicine Manjeet. :)

Exellent shot, Manjeet. Your words truley touched me. Life is indeed for living and laughing. And you, my friend, make me laugh - thanks so much.

In the words of Rowan Atkinson "Life is .....just one of those things" he was joking of course. I say care less about what others say and do your own thing and hope it's legal !
Good shot Doc and better than my wood sandpiper shot which is so small you need an electron microscope to see it!

Thanks for the image and the story Manjeet! Life is much too short.... so enjoy whilst you can,.....you only get one chance! Thanks for being you and bringing such cheer to all at BF!
