Sort of a lifer, but not really
I've seen probably thousands of Brewer's Blackbirds, which I consider parking lot birds (I wonder what draws them there), but this was the first time I saw a chick. That is, I'm *assuming* this chick is a BRBL, since two adult BRBL's were flying close overhead in a rather agitated state every time we walked to or from our car where this little one was toodling about in the parking lot (where else?) behind our hotel that night. And another mystery about BRBLs - why the name cyanocephalus? Yes, they (well, the males at least) are quite irridescent in the right light, but I've never seen their heads as being blue ...?

Terrific close-up of this fledgeling. So innocent and so much to learn in a hurry. First-rate Doc!

Aaaaw!!! Isn't he cute. That gape is enormous, isn't it, so I guess he was only out of the nest that day!!

A splendid picture you've got of this youngster Ann - thanks lass.
