Such a Darling (Treron phoenicoptera)

The balcony of my home in Delhi opens into this garden.
In the garden is this tall eucalyptus tree.
In the month of June 2006 came into the garden this dolly with her mate.
They set up a sweet little nest on the Eucalyptus tree.
Then took turns sitting on the eggs during day.
At night they shared the nest together.
So the life went on for nearly a week.
Then, alas, came a dust storm so common in Delhi in summer.
And blew the nest away.
