Visual Infestation
I was attending a seminar at Fort Cronkhite near the Marin Headlands and saw this rock covered with cormorants. The contrasting landmark below and the chalk covered rock from above made this an interesting photo for me.

Thanks for posting ...Very interesting geology graced by our avian friends. I am not sure the rock is covered in chalk though! Hope you enjoyed yourself at the seminar and then the free time you had.
 
I had to laugh at this one. It reminds me of all those cowboy and Indian movies where the Indians were linded up on the cliffs. But good photo anyway.
