Thanks Aki and Patty. I was about 15 feet away but my camera was only 18 inches, triggered remotely.
 
Wow!!! Well done! You made good use of that sunshine this weekend. I was down in CT at a party so missed the warm sunny weather for photos and by the look of the feeders we had LOTS of activity here while we were gone.
 
Amazing Mark! Not always an advantage to have the legs so far back on the body. Unusual that one can acually see what the background is. I guess you use a remote cable to release the shutter electronically...? Have been thinking of that myself.
 
Thank you everyone! Hans - yes I used a long remote cable. Biggest problem is how loud DSLRs are...I wanted the camera closer to avoid cropping, but the noise just spooked everything.
