Yellow-wattled lapwing (Vanellus malabaricus)

I longed a lot for a pic of this rather shy bird.. Its definitely a dry species and due to habitat loss they are becoming scarcer.. This Sunday, I was surprised to see one very near my vehicle while on my usual trip to a bird sanctuary ..
