    after a very long period the odd bird has appeared to feed on the seeds I put out on the S facing balcony. Covid years were lean, birds could be gloriusly heard but scarcely seen. What jpy to see them again!

    PLS help me ID this butterfly

    I've checked several sites, looked at hundreds of photographs and still haven't found a match for this butterfly seen on a Greek island village in the Eastern Aegean. Could anyone help? Copper brown, single spot on forewing, 2 on hindwing.
