    22 Female black cap seen on my apple tree yesterday , several years have had a male and female in garden from october to march Robin in garden again since last week will stay until near end of march . Since wednesday 2 blue tits ,3 greenfinches and a chiff chaff have joined the resident...

    Two blue tits on a tall leaf plant on my patio 7.30 this morning soon after saw a coal tit, then since seen several green finch very unusual to see tits and finches in my garden in september. Weather lovely hot dry and very clear since tuesday until probably rain monday

    21. Swallow . Swallows 50+ here since about an hour , more will come before they go on somewhere else in a few days time .

    Hello to all , at last I am back on here . Changed my computer which was extremely necessary ! 70+ Starlings mostly very juvenile looking were around yesterday then suddenly all flew off .

    20. Hoopoe . Seen few minutes ago on my patio . I have seen one and sometimes two hoopoe quite often other years between end march and mid july but not last year. Though know someone in the village had a couple in their garden several times.

    16. Starling several 17. Green finch 1 18. Common Buzzard seen most days Long tailed tits increased to 5 , one of my favourite small birds . Having beautiful sunny warm days this week between 18 and 21 c, nights cold some mornings frost but days are terrific , lunch in garden .

    Havent any Greenfinchs here this winter , usually several in the garden. Also no Bramblings and no Chiff chaff , less Blue tits and Great tits .
