    One more to ID?

    I've no experience of Texas butterflies but you might like to check out www.butterfliesandmoths.org/map. Select Texas from the map and from the species list try Silvery Checkerspot, Chlosyne nycteis under Nymphalinae.

    The second is a Lattice Brown, Kirinia roxelana.
