    Question about winter roost box

    Hi I’m adding a winter roost box for smaller birds like chickadees and I’m not sure how near or far from my feeders I should place it. I’d like to place it about 6-12 feet away. Is that too close? Thanks

    Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have 2 suet feeders. The hanging log with holes in it and a standard sized square cage feeder.     I'm in New England and have several feeders in my yard. Common visitors include black capped chickadees, tufted titmice, northern cardinals, dark eyed juncos, goldfinches, house finches, downy and hairy woodpeckers, red bellied woodpeckers, carolina wrens, house sparrows and mourning doves.
