    pos spoonbills Yesterday at 6pm on leaving work no bins i saw what at first seemed like 2little egrets but were flying alot faster and had their necks straight out not tucke vird in .Could not get proper views they were going east towards soldiers point so anyone in the area keep an eye out.

    Hoopoe Red alert ,great bird for Louth seen today.A Hoopoe was seen today by E. Larressey coming in off the sea at Annagassan,landed and flew inland on the north side of the bridge.seen since first sighting,lets "hooopoe" its seen again. Gerry o neill

    harrier A female harrier was seen at Dundalk Docks at about 4 30.It was only seen for a short time but looked small and could be a montagus harrier.It was last seen going east on the north side of dundalk docks so keep a look out in louth for this bird.
