    Flying fish/squid IDs, if poss.

While on a cruise around Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, the crew did some squid fishing at night. At the same time, we were visited by flying fish. Any ideas as to IDs? TIA Fof

    Confused

@Odonate. Just a follow up, as I am, like you, confused. You stated: Now you say: All I was doing was putting forward my thoughts and ideas. Also, Cornwall, where I live, isn't, as far as I am aware, on a different continent from Devon.

    What's with this magpie?

While doing a bit of spotting for the National Hedgehog Monitoring Project, I came across a sequence, taken 19-08-24. I've never seen a magpie like this before. Almost looks like it has been throttled.😳😳 Eyes look a bit odd, as well. Any suggestions?
