    Mandarin or Coot?

Given Coot normally fly with their large feet trailing I'd say not a Coot.

ID help please, Tontono, Canada, Sep. 2020

Can't pretend to be too experienced with either, but don't structure, lack of eye crescents and that hook-tipped bill point to a vireo?

    Garden/Yard List 2020

The Thrush was an awesome record, and still a major blocker- did it visit your garden?

    Garden/Yard List 2020

Wow, an inland Melodious is an incredible record and would outshine pretty much anything- I'm guessing rarer than the likes of Dusky Warbler, Black-t Thrush, and maybe even Bluetail after this year!?

Cape May, early Sept., bright yellow underparts

Those flank streaks look genuine to me so I think your best fit is correct - Prairie. JW

Vancouver / Seattle Hotspots - public transport?

Given the success of rain ponchos, perhaps there's a gap in the market for a slightly larger version, easily portable, that covers the wearer's modesty allowing for undercover relief. Dragon's Den here I come...o:D JW
