    Sand hopper ?

    I moved from the Cotswolds to South Wales a few years ago and have seen a species in my garden that I never saw previously. When I move something in the garden and expose the damp soil beneath, I see lots of Sandhopper/ Gammarus type creatures hopping about, any idea what these are ?

    False Widow and another for ID

    I have three False widows living in gaps around my kitchen window and feed them bluebottles, one of the webs is now full of approx' 60 spiderlings
