    terrapins from South Africa

Hi, Where exactly did you see these two? The first I would agree with Welsh... Serrated Hinged Terrapin, Pelusios sinuatus. The second however I'm not convinced. I'll see if I can get someone who is more knowledgeable then myself to help with an id but a location would help.

    Tortoises from Africa

The little frog is a Marbled Rubber Frog (Phrynomantis annectens) I'm not to clued up on tortoises but the second tortoise in the dry grass looks like an Angulate Tortoise (Chersina angulata) although Spitzkoppe is a bit out of their range. The first Tortoise with the green grass has me...

    Frog / Toad, Nelspruit, SA

Hey. I'd say Guttural Toad (Amietophrynus gutturalis)

    Frog, Karoo, South Africa

Mainly based on location laevis would be only option. Muelleri is restricted to the north eastern side of South Africa and gilli to the Cape tip. gilli typically would also have two irregular dark stripes down its back.

    Frog, Karoo, South Africa

    That would be Xenopus laevis

Snake ID welcome, near Pilanesberg, South Africa

Do you not have a head shot at all? From what I can see there I'd say a snouted cobra (Naja annulifera).

    African Frogs and Snakes

Ye the snake is defiantly Philothamnus spp. The frogs would both be from the African reed frogs (Hyperoliidae) The first one looks like it could be a painted reed frog (Hyperolius marmoratus) and the second looks like a Kivu Reed Frog (Hyperolius kivuensis)

    What kind of Cobra???

It looks like a Naja kaouthia (Monocled Cobra) Granted I'm more clued up on South African snakes so I could be wrong.

    Painted Bronzeback?, Singapore

Nope not a bronze back. That would be a striped keelback (Xenochrophis vittatus)

    Spotted eagle owl

Nice green snake in tree KK Nat Pk Thailand

Looks like a red tailed racer to me. (Gonyosoma oxycephalum) Good timing with the birds to have seen it, they do a great job of blending into the foliage usually.
