    Seedsnipe, today, Puerto Natales, Chile.

I'm leaning towards Least based on small size (no comparison though) and dull yellow legs. I'm not sure about the pattern on the throat. Thanks!

Prion, today, North of the Falkland Islands

This prion caught my attention at sea because it didn't seem to have strong face pattern. The amount of black on tail looks decent. I'm thinking Fairy prion but I don't have experience with this species. Apology for photo quality. Photos were taken today on the way to Falklands.

Two different cinclodes, Ushuaia, Argentina, this week.

Both seem to have white wing bends. Not confident to tell bill sizes and flank colors. Leaning towards Grey-flanked. Thanks!

    Passerine, Santiago, Chile, Oct-20-2022

Blue-and-yellow tanager has been suggested by someone with deep knowledge of Chilean birds 😲 admitted it is rare in the area.

The malar is consistent in other photos (also poor quality though), as well.

    Passerine, Santiago, Chile, Oct-20-2022

Thanks! Grassland Yellow-Finch seems more common in that area: west of Santiago, close to the airport.

    Passerine, Santiago, Chile, Oct-20-2022

The best I could think of is female Gray-hooded Sierra Finch with the pale malar stripes, however, it seems to have too much yellow. Thanks!

Martin/swallow, Buenos Aires (city), Argentina, Dec-21-2022

Photos 1 and 2 are the same bird; 3, 4, 5 are another one. I'm wondering if the first one is Southern Rough-winged Swallow or one of the martins, Gray-breasted/Brown-chested. The second bird looks like a martin to me but hard to tell which one from this angle. Thanks! :)

    Passerine, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dec-21-2022

Thank you! Saw the males, didn't think about the female. I was looking at finches/tanagers.
