    Eocheongdo accomodation?

    Yes, sending a text message in Korean explaining your plan, and perhaps the same message in English to account for translation mistakes (works well in my experience), may be your best bet. Even better would be to get someone to book it for you, if you know anyone over in Korea. Korean islands...

    Going to Seoul in October, any recommendations?

    The hotspots on eBird are fairly up-to-date now (as of March 2025), and should be a great starting point for finding good birding spots when doing it independently. It helps that there's a lot more eBird users over here these days. Also iNaturalist can be good, something I use regularly as well.
