    I found this guy today and thought it was a Eurasian Wigeon because of the breast color and the back color, but the dark head is similar to a Mallard. Could this be a mixed duck?

    I found this guy on 8 Sept 2014, and thought it was a Ladder-Backed Woodpecker, but the facial striping doesnt quite fit and i have never seen red on the neck of a LB woodpecker. Any help?

    I found this in Fort Sumner. I think I am going crazy. This looks like a red patch, then a white patch, then a black patch on the wing. Fort Sumner is way out of range for a tricolored Blackbird right?

    Oasis S.P. New Mexico 5/10-5/11/14

    I have found these guys at the park for the last two days. There is a collection of 10, and they zoom around the pond, Hovering over the water for a few seconds, and zoom away again. One or two land for a few seconds then take off when the rest of them do. Any help with an ID would be great...
