    Swarovision EL 10x42

I've had these binoculars for over three months now. I'm blown away with the razor-sharp and bright optics. I got the 10x magnification and have no trouble holding them steady. In fact I tried some Canon image stabilizing binoculars (including chromatic aberration) and had more image shake. I...

Here are the new Victorys: Victory HT

Yes when will Allbinos review the HT? Unless Arek has become fed up after all the comments on the endurance test tread.

Is Zeiss going to fix the problem with the focussing wheel?

"Swarovski 8.5x42 SV" or "Zeiss 8x42 HT" ?

I honestly can't see rolling ball with my 10x42 Swaros. I will have to try the 8.5x42 model.

Here are the new Victorys: Victory HT

Sorry James but you have poor comprehension skills. I used the 10x42 HT last week in store. I recently used the 8x42 HT in the field. Get over it people, the Swaro IMO is sharper than the HT.

Comparison of Zeiss HT wih others...

I wouldn't lean towards the HT. The Zeiss has CA across the entire field of view.

Here are the new Victorys: Victory HT

You need to try them in the field like I did. That's when you notice how much CA the HT's have. :-C

"Swarovski 8.5x42 SV" or "Zeiss 8x42 HT" ?

The HT is certainly not CA free and worse it's found in the centre of view.

"Swarovski 8.5x42 SV" or "Zeiss 8x42 HT" ?

You seem very attached to Zeiss. Those photos proved that the Zeiss HT has CA and yet you don't want to believe it.

Bins for naturewatching and astronomy ?

People say you need a 7mm exit pupil for astronomy, but for me the most important thing is sharpness. You must consider factors such as astigmatism and coma when purchasing bins for astronomy. My 10x42 Swaro bins are bright enough to allow me to see many more stars than my own eyes. I can also...

Here are the new Victorys: Victory HT

Back on topic. I got to try the Victory HT 8x42 binoculars yesterday afternoon. Yes they were a little brighter than my Swaro 10x42, but once again with Zeiss I get blackout. The HT's look and feel cheap to me, they remind me of my old Pentax PCF binoculars. I also hope Zeiss has solved the...

Problems with Victory 10x42 T FL

Omg, no wonder the guy in the optics shop said don't get Zeiss.
