    Digiscoping with Nikon

Hello, I thought I would throw my two cents in about your digiscoping question. Concerning scopes, contrary to other posts, the 82mm ED fieldscope is actually light and compact in comparison to different manufacturers with equivalent objective lens diameters. However, the new 50mm ED fieldscope...

    Nikon Fieldscope 82 ED Eyepieces.

Nikon eyepieces! To answer your questions, yes, switching to a fixed magnification would be the way to go. Like you said, the ocular lens is rather small on our eyepieces. Now, this doesn't effect the final performance of the scope (in terms of image quality), however, will make it much...

    the 8x32's side by side

Luca, My name is Mike Freiberg and I am the birding rep for Nikon. I was a bit shocked with your opinion of the lack of handling in the Nikons. From traveling to shows all over the US I have found that the ergonomics have been the mainstay for the Premier line of optics. What about the handling...

Kentucky, USA -- Need a bird ID.

Jackalgirl, Can you descibe the overall shape of the bird in detail? That might help a bit more! this sounds like you might have a Yellow-billed Cuckoo! Try to type that name into the computer and see if you agree with the picture. If not, let me know and I can try and help more. Cheers, Mike...

Just Received My New Nikon ED82, Wow!!!

Future for Nikon Eyepieces! Kimmo, Well, I am glad that I have some support here about this issue. This has been the major issue in my book that has actually kept me from using the zoom eyepiece. I prefer my 30x wide angle anyway, but should Nikon produce a wide-angle zoom eyepiece, I would...

Adapter for Canon EOS SLR Digital to Nikon ED82 Fieldscoep

SLR adaptor Peter, Unfortunately as of this moment there is no SLR adaptor to any Nikon fieldscope. I am not sure what is in store for the future, but there is no way to attach your Canon to the FS III 82 mm. Let me know if you have questions. Cheers, Mike Freiberg Nikon Birding Market Specialist

    Nikon ED 82 (BARGAIN)

Digiscoping with Nikon! John, All of Nikon's digicoping outfits come standard with a 30 x WA eyepiece. We do offer a 50x and 75x eyepeice as well, but I recommend the 30x because at those other magnifications, it is hard to maintain professional resolution while digiscoping unless you have...
