    Birding In Dundee.

That's an excellent resource Barry. You've put a lot of work into that.(y)

    Out Of Place.

What a brilliant spot, Barry! I've only seen 3 or 4 Pine Martens over many decades hill walking, so to see one in Dundee is pretty special.

Which 10x42 binoculars are you using the most?

The Opticron Aurora 10x42 are my only pair of 10s, and i feel no need to look for anything else. Easy viewing, sharp and clear. What more could i want?

Thanks, Barry. It looked like a Whitethroat, but i didn't know they could raise their crown feathers like that.

    Expedition To The Outer Limits.

It's been years since i've walked it, but below the bridge used to be more overgrown. Lots of wild garlic at the bridge. The small pond and pheasant cages were south of the bridge, and you had to walk the field boundary in places as it was so overgrown. Near the bottom of the 'den' going south...

I have the 10x42s, and focusing is very smooth all the way with no noise.

    Expedition To The Outer Limits.

Good post again. You mentioned Gray Den. As kids, we used to walk up the burn from the Mains of Gray track to Fowlis. We knew it as Spinkie Den, but don't know if it is the same place you mention. It used to be quite easy to follow. There was a small pond half way down, as well as some pheasant...

You Don't Want To Do That!

That's a wonderful shot of the dove looking at its own shadow.
