    Thank you! I also think that it is South Island Robin but it is uncommon bird and Tomtit was mentioned as common bird at this region - so I ask other people for their opinion.

    Please, can anybody help me with the idnetification of this bird? I supposed that it is Tomtit, however I don't see white wingbar. So it most resembles South Island Robin. I observed it at South island at Routenburn track. Thank you for help! Ivan

    Please help me identify the small white heron from Israel - there were two on Tel-Aviv beach - one with black and one with light legs. The feathers were white with some yellow / light brown markings. The beak is yellowish. Previously, I assume these are young Little Egrets. Thank you!

    OK, probably the same birds. However - Auckland Island Teal (Anas aucklandica) or Brown Teal (Anas chlorotis)? Probably it is a question of taxonomy (Brown Teal was divided to 3 species).

    BTW http://www.bookdepository.com is really cheaper way to buy books! Sorry, it is not advertisement, I compared many possibilities for this New Zealand's birding book, such as Amazon, e-bay, NHBS, Penguin Books etc.

    Meopta Meostar S2 82 HD

    Hi Martin, enclosed you can see other photos. For me the case have minimal influence on the focus (it looks that some interference exists but it is minimal and have only slight influence). However I have to mention that nowadays version of S2 have better focussing - older one little scraped.

    stay-on case Here is a photo of my new Meopta with new design of stay-on case (I bought it at early December). The case is more usable than previous version (see removable covers of lens and ocular)
