    It's the pattern of the name. Red-browed is the same sort of combination as brown-hooded, and treecreeper is the same sort of combination as kingfisher. King is a noun, fisher is "one who fishes". The same as tree is a noun, creeper is "one who creeps". Just the same, practically.
